Rider Alert: Bus Stop Temporarily Relocated (10/3-10/18 weekdays only)

In order to dredge the turning basin, the D Street Bridge will be closed from Monday – Friday, October 3-18, and reopened during the weekend. Routes 10, 11, and 311 will have a detour during this time but no stops will be missed. The 4th St and C St stops will be served on the opposite side of the street.

Ride Free On Clean Air Day! (10/5)

Petaluma Transit will offer free service on Clean Air Day

In honor of California Clean Air Day, Petaluma Transit will offer free rides on Wednesday, October 5, 2022. Sonoma County Transit, Santa Rosa City Bus, and Marin Transit will also be running fare-free on October 5. Tell your friends!

You can plan your trip using Google Maps. You can also use myStop® to track your bus and reduce bus stop waiting time, so you can spend your time doing what is important to you. You are welcome to call us at 707-778-4460 and we would be happy to provide you with route information.

Veterans & Active-Duty Military Ride Free

Starting on President’s Day, Monday, February 21, 2022, all US Veterans and Active-duty Military will be able to ride free of charge on all Petaluma Transit fixed-route buses. Designed to honor Petaluma’s Veteran and Active-Duty military community, the pilot program was unanimously approved by Petaluma City Council on January 24, 2022. Active-duty or veteran military members from any branch of service will now be able to ride any Petaluma Transit fixed route for free by showing proof of their military status while riding the bus. The program helps fulfill the City of Petaluma goals to advance equity by improving access, community cohesion, and well-being, and to reduce the City’s greenhouse gas emissions in efforts to reach carbon neutrality by 2030.

Riders can ride for free on all of Petaluma Transit’s fixed-route service by presenting one of the following forms of identification to their bus driver:
