Petaluma Transit provides free travel training to anyone interested. We offer group presentations and transit tours with qualified travel trainers, who will help you to:
- Read and understand maps and schedules
- Recognize bus stops
- Get on and off the bus safely
- Locate and transfer to other buses
Group Presentations
“Riding PT” is a free, 45-minute, presentation about the alternatives to driving in Petaluma followed by a 30-minute bus tour (optional). This group presentation can be tailored to the needs of the audience and is available in both English and Spanish.
Transit Tours
“Transit Tours” consist of an individualized or small group in which a Petaluma Transit representative will provide a free tour of the public transit system by planning a trip on an actual transit route.
